One of my biggest regrets is that I never got to see Cadence in the short time she was physically present in this world.  Although I know her spirit is still very much here.  I love her family every bit as much as I love my own.  I look forward to meeting you one day, Cadence....In our Fathers beautiful kingdom!

My deepest condolences. May these few words from the Holy Scriptures give you comfort...

John 11:32-45

32 And so Mary, when she arrived where Jesus was and caught sight of him, fell at his feet, saying to him: “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.” 33 Jesus, therefore, when he saw her weeping and the Jews that came with her weeping, groaned in the spirit and became troubled; 34 and he said: “Where have YOU laid him?” They said to him: “Lord, come and see.” 35 Jesus gave way to tears. 36 Therefore the Jews began to say: “See, what affection he used to have for him!” 37 But some of them said: “Was not this [man] that opened the eyes of the blind man able to prevent this one from dying?”

38 Hence Jesus, after groaning again within himself, came to the memorial tomb. It was, in fact, a cave, and a stone was lying against it. 39 Jesus said: “TAKE the stone away.” Martha, the sister of the deceased, said to him: “Lord, by now he must smell, for it is four days.” 40 Jesus said to her: “Did I not tell you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” 41 Therefore they took the stone away. Now Jesus raised his eyes heavenward and said: “Father, I thank you that you have heard me. 42 True, I knew that you always hear me; but on account of the crowd standing around I spoke, in order that they might believe that you sent me forth.” 43 And when he had said these things, he cried out with a loud voice: “Laz´a·rus, come on out!” 44 The [man] that had been dead came out with his feet and hands bound with wrappings, and his countenance was bound about with a cloth. Jesus said to them: “Loose him and let him go.”

45 Therefore many of the Jews that had come to Mary and that beheld what he did put faith in him;

 Cadence and family are in are prayers and thoughts. I am so grateful to see you all keep her memory alive. What a great family you all are. Her life was cut far too short but look at the impact she has made. She has touched many people with her story, people she would never even come to know! I have never met her but I sure do love her! God bless you all.

My baby grandaughter.....  / Cindy LITTLEFIELD (Nana)

There is not a day that goes by that I don't think about you, how big you would be, what you would look like.....I miss you every day and I always will.  You were the little girl that my little girl, your Mommy, always wanted and for the longest time I could not understand why you had to go and I was angry.  I know now that God took you so you wouldn't suffer anymore...so Mommy and Daddy wouldn't suffer through your illness..but it doesn't ever stop the constant aching I have in my heart to hold you and love you and watch you grow and play...to be your Nana.....to hear you call me Nana.  I know you are healthy and strong now, and look down on all of us...but you will forever be missed by your Nana.  You are at peace now and God willing I will meet you one day at heaven's gate, then I will be able to tell you how much I love you and how much I missed you all of my life.

I love you forever,

Nana

To everyone out there expecting their children, or who have new babies or maybe just thinking about having children, please, please make yourself aware of Congenital Heart Disease.  Familiarize yourself with the symptoms and the numerous batteries of newborn tests that can be done when your child is born that are not normal newborn tests done on a daily basis.  Insist these tests be done.  It is crucial to the health of your child.  As a parent, we never expect to outlive our children, but it happens everyday.  Don't go through the pain that not only us, but hundreds of others have.
